We are proud to continue supporting Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation through the Silver Lining Long Lunch in Townsville.

We donated a custom designed and locally made stainless steel kitchenette which included:

4 burner BBQ (with thanks to BBQ's Galore Townsville)
Stone benchtops (generously donated by Townsville Stone)
Integrated sink
Stainless steel cabinetry

This was auctioned off at the event held at the Metropole Townsville on 12 October 2024.

In total the event raised over $50,000! Well done Townsville, we're proud to be associated with such a generous community.

Waterfront Cafe Thriving

Waterfront café and bar Levanti is open and offering delicious eats and treats for the Townsville community.

At Townsville Stainless Steel we are proud to have worked closely with George and his team to design the kitchen, scullery and bar area as a functional, efficient work space.

Ditch Witch Upgrade

Our team recently upgraded one of our client's Ditch Witch Cyclone Separators from their standard unit to a stainless steel unit.

Standard Ditch Witch Cyclone Separators will deteriorate with use. By upgrading to a stainless steel Cyclone Separator, our client will gain an extended life from the Ditch Witch.

Stainless steel has been used in this instance to provide a high quality unit that will stand the test of time.

Previous clients that have upgraded their Ditch Witch and Vermeer Cyclone Separator units to stainless steel units are already enjoying more productivity due to less down time required to maintain and repair non stainless steel units.

Custom Offset Smoker Bbq Auctioned for Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

Townsville Stainless Steel had the privilege of donating one of our custom made offset smoker barbeques for auction at the Silver Lining Long Lunch for Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

This amazing event was put together by national ambassador for OCRF and 2023 Masterchef runner up, Rhiannon Anderson, sister Anna Ravizza and Dr Sally Aubrey.

The efforts and hard work from the team paid off as over $40,000.00 was raised for this very worthwhile cause.

"It was very rewarding to of been part of the OCRF 2023 event," said Managing Director Ashley Hollins.

We hope Graham enjoys cooking on his new smoker BBQ.

Stainless Steel Dishwasher Roller Bench

Last month we designed, fabricated and supplied a commercial dishwasher outlet roller bench to a Cloncurry accomodation and tourist park.

Our customer provided floor plans and then our custom design team came up with this curved bench concept including a drip tray which runs the whole length, at almost 3 metres.

The roller bench was also built to compliment the customers new commercial dishwasher. Efficiency and effectiveness was key as this kitchen produces over 750 meals per day.

Stainless Steel Bump Rails Delivered to Townsville Airport as Part of Airport Modernisation Works

Townsville Stainless Steel manufactured approximately 40 metres of stainless steel bump rails for Townsville Airport.

These works are part of the Townsville Airport terminal upgrade which commenced in September 2021.

As part of the ongoing works at Townsville Airport, Townsville Stainless Steel also completed modifications to the stainless steels baggage desks within the terminal.

Congratulations to Townsville Airport on the progress of this major project.

Stainless Steel Kiosk at Townsville Community Learning Centre

We recently handed over this stainless steel kiosk to our client as part of the newly constructed multipurpose hall at Townsville Community Learning Centre.

This purpose built kiosk has all the commercial kitchen features as well as an adjustable stainless steel bench.

Experience in The Porsche Pit Garage at Nti Townsville 500

We were honoured to attend the 2023 NTI Townsville 500 event over the weekend as corporate guests of Caterquip and BWT.

Thanks to Caterquip and BWT, we were treated to behind the scenes action in the Porsche pit garage, and met with Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup drivers Fabian Coulthard and Courtney Prince.

Cam from the Porsche Centre Melbourne Motorsport team was also on hand to answer all the technical racing questions.

It was a terrific day of entertainment and Townsville Stainless Steel thanks James and Leanne from Caterquip and Rodger from BWT for a memorable experience!

The custom made equipment was installed on behalf of our client at Wulguru Fire Station.

Stainless steel bench tops are smart, sleek and hygienic. The end result is very effective, but also hard wearing, ensuring a long lasting product in the home.

It was rewarding to work with the home owner, and we hope they enjoy their refreshed and modernised space.

New Stainless Steel Boat Canopy

We recently manufactured a custom stainless steel boat canopy frame for a client from Magnetic Island.

Now the stainless steel boat canopy frame has been installed, it is ready for the canvas cover to go on.

Once complete, our client will be back fishing on the Great Barrier Reef.

It was great to work with the owner of this beautiful boat to custom design a solution to suit his needs.

It was great to see the new safety rails installed in Ayr recently.

Townsville Stainless Steel has previously collaborated with Streetbuild to fabricate and install quality stainless steel products for other Townsville based projects.

Recently Streetbuild approached us to fabricate and install stainless steel rails for Woolworths Ayr. These safety rails were part of a larger project delivered by Streetbuild to renovate Ayr's only Woolworths.

We fabricated the stainless steel safety rails in our Townsville workshop before transporting these to site in Ayr where our team installed them for Streetbuild.

Custom Made Tray for Fuso Truck in Townsville

This Fuso truck with a custom designed and manufactured tray is now the work horse in our client's fleet!

This is another project that was custom designed, manufactured and fitted right here in our Townsville workshop.

Our client required a custom tray for their commercial delivery solutions. Ashley worked closely with local business Complete Water Solutions NQ to design a tray that suited their growing operations.

Presentation Stand for North Queensland Cowboys Premiership Trophy

Custom Made Stainless Steel Tray

We recently designed, manufactured and fitted a custom made stainless steel tray for a commercial van in Townsville.

Pet Heaven NQ is a local Townsville business who required a custom made stainless steel tray fitted to their commercial van.

Ashley worked with our client to design the tray, before the team in the workshop manufactured the tray with stainless steel. Our team then fitted the tray into the van as shown in the photo above.

In addition to making this trailer functional, we worked together to ensure the design and finished project was also aesthetically pleasing.

To secure plant effectively, we manufactured custom made fencing panels to surround the plant on a concrete pad.

The project included an access gate for maintenance personnel to be able to get into the plant, lots of airway for cooling and a strong and sturdy design for security.

Another Commercial Kitchen Delivered

In 2021 we delivered a commercial kitchen as part of the $26 million Pimlico TAFE Campus refurbishment and expansion.

As sub-contractors our contribution to the project included fabrication and installation of stainless steel preparation benches and kitchen equipment within the TAFE's hospitality hub.

We recently had the opportunity to tour the facility and see our project being used. It's great to see the next generation of commercial cooking professionals being trained in Townsville.
