Diner fit-out in Burdekin

​At Townsville Stainless Steel, we take pride in delivering high-quality stainless steel solutions for commercial kitchens. One of our recent projects involved working with C.D. Lewty & Sons to manufacture and install a full stainless steel kitchen for a new diner in the Burdekin region. In addition, our team designed, manufactured and installed front of house, decorative and functional items including screens, seating and framework.

The Project
C.D. Lewty & Sons, a trusted generational Burdekin builder, engaged us to provide stainless steel components for a diner fit-out for their client, Bur-Del. Our scope of work included:

• Custom-built stainless steel benches and stainless steel cabinetry
• Custom-built stools and seating solutions
• Decorative screening
• Stainless steel exhaust canopy system
• Assorted commercial catering equipment 

We manufactured all components in our Townsville workshop, ensuring precision and durability before transporting and installing them on-site in the Burdekin.

The Outcome
The result was a state-of-the-art stainless steel kitchen, built to withstand the demands of a busy diner environment. This high-quality facility has now been leased out to Burdekin Delta Diner, a local operator that has turned the space into a vibrant community hub. We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this project to life, providing a functional and stylish commercial kitchen and hospitality solution that will serve the community for years to come.
